We would like to issue a warm welcome to our newly appointed Library Director, Alicia Edwards. Alicia has been the Edmonson County Family Resource Center Coordinator for 7 years working in our community with many families and children. She is also the granddaughter of our former Bookmobile Director, Judy Renfro, who worked at ECPL for 20 years before her retirement. We look forward to working with Alicia and serving our community together for several years to come. Her starting date is May 1st.
In other news, the BRASS Spring Sale was a success thanks to those who braved the rain to shop with us. Our BRASS ladies, Karla and Hannah were able to raise $1300.00 for those who have suffered from domestic violence. We can’t wait to see them again this fall, but until then, we would like to say “Thank You” to everyone who came out in support or shared details of the event to help us get the word out.
